Seminarium om tillväxtmarknaden Brasilien

Seminar Brazilian Boom

Perspectives and insights on key markets for Swedish companies

Brazil is more than just soccer and samba, Capoeira and Carnival. It's been called the gateway to South America, boasting a population of 190 million and soon to become the fifth-largest economy in the world.

Over the last 10 years, Brazil has enjoyed steady economic growth and is now emerging as a serious global contender. Better capital market regulation and corporate governance standards have improved the investment climate. Consumer spending is on the rise thanks to a growing middle class, the credit market is booming and infrastructure spending is being fueled by its hosting of the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. To be sure, Brazil offers unprecedented investment opportunities going forward. This seminar examines how Sweden can capitalize on these opportunities.

Speakers include representatives from Nasdaq OMX, Electrolux and EKN as well as State Secretary Gunnar Oom and Ambassador of Brazil, Mrs. Leda Lúcia Martins Camargo.
